I am an experienced supervisor of both individuals and groups. I gained a Certificate in Supervision in 2003 with PCT Britain and since then I have enjoyed working with both counsellors-in-training and qualified therapists. As a supervisor, I offer a relationship which is open and supportive in which supervisees can be reflective on their work with clients and how they impact the therapeutic relationship.

I have experience of supervising different modalities as I have an integrative psychotherapy training. This allowed me to integrate psychodynamic theory, child developmental theories, neuroscience and trauma therapy into my person centred core. This new perspective has helped me to remain passionate and committed to my client work. I particularly enjoy exploring the commonality and differences between the approaches.

I work from my peaceful practice in Lanark where I offer both daytime and early evening appointments. I also have some availability in Glasgow midweek.

I offer an initial 30 minute introductory meeting free of charge for supervisees and thereafter my fee is £50 per hour. I offer a reduced fee for supervision of counselling students of £40 per hour.

There are good transport links to both Lanark and Glasgow offices and there is local parking available. Access in Lanark may be limited as there is one small step at the entrance. And unfortunately in Glasgow there is no disabled access as the counselling rooms are reached by a flight of stairs.
